5 Common Skincare Blunders | Avoid at all cost

Hello everyone and how are you this week!

So my life is filled with blunders which occur on a daily basis but skincare blunders and fails have a long-lasting effect in the form of pimples, blemishes, dark spots and dry skin.

So these are the few blunders that you should avoid at all cost or something like this might happen

1. Avoid touching your face

The biggest problem I come across is that I can’t stop touching my face. If I have one pimple in morning I touch them throughout the day and by evening they have converted to more. When you touch your face, the bacteria which your hand has collected by doing some work or touching various surfaces get transferred to your face causing infections and pimples.

2. Not all natural and herbal products are safe

I am a natural product researcher so I know something about this. Many studies showed that many extracts of natural resources are cytotoxic i.e. they are toxic to healthy cells. So before using any product, may it be natural or not remember to do a patch test on your wrist or behind your ear.

3. Avoiding Sunscreen

This is the worst possible thing you can do to your skin. Don’t skip out on sunscreen ever. If you are on a budget, this is the first and the most important thing you should buy for a good skin. Try using sunscreen regularly and thank me after two weeks

4. Sleeping with Makeup on

I know how lazy anyone can be, you don’t have to tell me. I used to do this before and my skin suffered due to it. Even though I don’t use much makeup except for my BB cream sometimes, I cleanse my face with a mild cleanser before going to bed. It makes my face feel good and get a deep sleep.

These are some really cheap makeup cleansing creams

Biotique Almond Oil Soothing Face and Eye Make Up Cleanser for Normal to Dry Skin, 120ml

Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk, 100ml

Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover, 60ml

5. Avoiding Toner

This step of skincare is overlooked by almost 80 to 90% people. Using a toner cleanses out the pores and make them clear from deep within. It also helps to control oil that is formed on the face. Right now I am broke so I am using Rosewater as a toner and it is working out good for me.

Here are some toners for you

Biotique Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner With Himalayan Waters For All Skin Types, 120Ml

VLCC Rose Water Toner, 100ml

Plum Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner, 200ml

So I assure you, you work on these and you will find some really good changes in your skin.
